Russian fruit, vegetable prices may fall on Turkish imports
MOSCOW, Jun 29 (PRIME) -- Russian prices for fruit and vegetables may fall after Turkey resumes exports to the county, a representative of the Economic Development Ministry told PRIME on Wednesday.
“A return of Turkish products to the Russian market will automatically increase supply, so we believe that prices for fruit and vegetables may fall in Russia,” the person said.
Earlier in the day, President Vladimir Putin said that Russia must normalize relations with Turkey.
